Things Are Not Life bring a sound that is real

Things Are Not Life brings a 9 track album that hits on all cylinders. They have come with a great concept that is new and ready for listeners to soak it up through their spores.  God Can’t Safe has a great “crunch sound to it with bass that Is played loud in the mix. The track has great vocals and amazing song structure.  The guitars effect pedal allows for the song to expand to new heights with the high pitch screeches. The vocals aren’t overly done and have a great sound that is full. The vocalist sings from his gut and not from his throat which gives him a much broader range.  The intro is phenomenal and the band kicks it off right by showing their best first.

“In The Middle” Starts with a killer guitar riff that reminds me of stoner metal or rock riffs.  When the vocals hit the guitarist gives us a very distinct sound through the song structure. The vocals are once again awesome, He utilizes all of his tools when he sings going from high to low, with even some talking parts which goes well and gives a solid change to the track. The guitars again are awesome, very mellow and chilling so to speak. I love the use of effects. The drummer utilizes his skills on this track as well with several drum fills which sound great and add depth to the song. I especially love the guitar solo and interlude where the guitar is consumed with flanger making the sound very spacey.  The vocalist’s highs are phenomenal towards the end I was very impressed with his range and how well the band collaborates together.
“Princess Harry’s Hollow Crown “ Is another one of my favorites, and how couldn’t it be with a title like that. It’s unique and flat out different.  I went ahead and googled the song and Things Are Not Life is the only band to use this song title. (round of applause)  The vocals again are a stand out on this track accompanied by excellent riffs and drums that don’t over power the sound.   The sound reminds me of something from The Doors which is great because I love Jim Morison. The lyrics are awesome because everything mentioned is true. About buying the T.V.’s and buying things we don’t need.  It’s all to fill the void like Things Are not Life mention on their website.

Things Are Not Life is phenomenal they deserve a massive audience. If they choose to tour I can see them gaining popularity fairly quick they just need to find the right hook ups.  Don’t sleep on this one! Their message is true and to the point. The vocals and sound is unique and brings something stellar to the table.
